These terms cover use of the ShoreSmarts website and its cruise and destination comparison tools. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and to review the current details supplied by the company that accepts your booking.

Comparison service

ShoreSmarts organizes information about cruise-line excursions and local tours so travelers can compare options. Search results, sample savings, ratings, schedules, availability, and inclusions are informational. They can change after ShoreSmarts collects or displays them.

Always verify the final price, taxes, meeting point, tour duration, accessibility, age or health restrictions, cancellation policy, return-to-ship timing, and included items on the provider's booking page before paying.

External bookings

ShoreSmarts does not sell the excursion shown on a Viator, GetYourGuide, cruise-line, or operator booking page. Clicking a booking link takes you to an external provider. Your booking contract, payment, refund rights, cancellation terms, and delivery of the tour are between you and that provider.

ShoreSmarts is not responsible for changes an external provider makes to a tour, price, schedule, availability, route, or cancellation decision. Contact the provider named on the booking confirmation for booking support or urgent day-of-tour issues.

Referral compensation

Some external links are affiliate or referral links. ShoreSmarts may receive a commission when a traveler follows one of those links and completes a booking. Cruise-line comparison prices may be shown even when ShoreSmarts receives no commission from the cruise line.

Ratings and vetting labels

An operator rating displayed by ShoreSmarts refers to ratings associated with that operator on named marketplaces. It is not an aggregate rating of ShoreSmarts. Vetting labels describe the site's published screening policy and do not replace a traveler's review of current provider credentials, insurance, safety instructions, and booking terms.

Return-to-ship planning

Timing comparisons are planning aids, not a guarantee that a traveler will return to the ship on time. Port conditions, tendering, traffic, weather, itinerary changes, operator delays, and time-zone errors can affect a port day. Follow the ship's current all-aboard time and leave a margin appropriate to the trip.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, submit harmful code, misuse provider links, or use automated requests in a way that disrupts the service or violates a third party's terms. You may use comparison results for personal travel planning.

Availability and changes

The site may be unavailable or return incomplete results when a cruise line, marketplace, search service, or other data source changes or is unavailable. ShoreSmarts may update the comparison methods, supported destinations, integrations, or these terms. A revised page will show a new effective date.
